Online campaign launched against restaurants serving food in SHOES and other weird objects

It's becoming increasingly popular to dish up meals in/on weird random objects, but campaigners have had enough

There's a creeping trend for restaurants to try and set themselves apart from the competition by serving food in unique and bizarre ways.


Now the 'We Want Plates' Twitter campaign is saying enough is enough! It's time to go back to serving meals in a way that has worked perfectly for hundreds of years: on plates.


It's what they were invented for, after all.


Expensive, upmarket places are some of the worst offenders - but if we don't put a stop to this nonsense, soon even your local chippy will be dishing up fish supper in a trainer.
