Did you clean and compile with asan/ubsan?

Older compilers may not detect the issue. My system has GCC 10:
libubsan-10.1.1-1.fc32.x86_64
gcc-10.1.1-1.fc32.x86_64
libasan-10.1.1-1.fc32.x86_64
