Dear Supercarlinbrothers, Though your ignorance in some fields is occasionally quite infuriating (e.g. Wellington boots / the Duke of Wellington (victor at Waterloo, 1815), and terms (in the UK the academic year is divided into three terms, usually autumn, spring, and summer), and you sometimes fail to grasp what to me is obvious (examples would be going too far here), your podcast is still very insightful and enjoyable. Keep up the good work. For when you get to Chapter 22 of Goblet of Fire, I would like to add this observation of mine: When (towards the end) Ron says “Hermione […], you are a girl” and attempts to secure his Yule Ball partner that way, Hermione is furious (“Oh, well spotted!”). Of course, one can understand her. But having once been a boy of Ron’s age, I see something else there: Ron as well as Harry have indeed not seen Hermione as a girl before – the text says so as well. They see her as a friend, an equal – not as a girl, someone different. From a young / early teenage boy’s point of view this is the greatest praise they could heap upon her. While I’m at it, I would like to propose a theory as well or put a question to those more knowledgeable than me: Dementors feed on joy and are commonly combatted by channelling strong happy memories into a Patronus. I wonder whether one could channel unhappy memories to hide from them, instead – for example if happy memories aren’t one’s strong suit. Imagine, if you will, rather than the familiar shield of happiness and joy to ward them off, a cloak of misery and depression underneath which what happiness there is remains imperceivable to the Dementors. Hey Brothers, since my allegiance belongs to the AWESOME King Bowser, I cannot imagine following a major villain out of fear or that he does not care about me! Ridiculous! Anyways, is it not quite telling that the only two people who seem to genuinely like Voldy are the two BIGGEST LUNATICS of the series in Barty Jr. and Bellatrix? Crazy! Also how the hell does Barty Sr. travel all the way to HOGWARTS in his state? This is one of the few weak points in the GoF Mystery Mayhem and I cannot Imagine a good explanation to it. Heyyy Brother from Germany! Love the Podcast and your Channel in general. I have a Question/Theorie: When using the Timeturner, shouldnt Hermione and Harry pop up on the Marauders Map twice? If so, Lupin must have seen them twice at Hagrids when checking the Map! So Lupin knows the whole time, that Harry and Hermione change something! Would love your thoughts about that. Do you ever Plan on doing a Europe Tour? That would be awesome! Keep up the good Work!
