What an extraordinary week it has been, one that captured the full arc of our
community’s evolution: It felt serious. Grounded. Ready to act. As I said before,
different.
The 2025 Hispanic Leadership Summit and Gala week in New York reflected a clear
signal that our community has entered a new phase of maturity. The energy in every
room, from Civic Hall to the United Nations to Cipriani Wall Street, showed a collective
shift: from awareness to organization, from inspiration to strategy, from unity to action.
This week reminded every attendee of what we've seen lately in our workplaces,
neighborhoods, and families. Even in times of uncertainty and division, Latinos remain a
constant source of resilience and creativity, but now, they are and feel connected to
each other.
At the Summit, we examined the data that tells our story with clarity: in 2018, only 14%
of Latinos recognized the extent of our contributions to this country. By 2023, that
number had risen to 42%. Today, it stands at 77%.
That growth represents more than awareness --> it signifies a profound mindset shift. A
new Latino is emerging: one who is self-aware, informed, and confident in our collective
worth.
At the United Nations, we continued the conversation with successful executives,
policymakers, and advocates who support our mission at We Are All Human and are
committed members of our organization. Together, we explored trust as a form of
currency, and data as a tool for progress.
The week culminated in the 2025 Gala by We Are All Human, held at the magnificent
Cipriani Wall Street. We leveled up our performances that night. A tailor-made,
breathtaking Cirque du Soleil performance accompanied our program all night. It felt
special and unique, the type of celebration that characterizes who Latinos are and our
level of professionalism.
This was an evening that celebrated leadership, legacy, and artistry. We honored four
remarkable leaders: Gabriel de Alba, Rita Ferro, Dr. Ellen Ochoa, and Bret Stephens.
Whose achievements reflect the excellence and impact of Latino leadership in every
field.
The year was a very special one because we announced the first-ever Hispanic Star
Chief Marketing Officers Hall of Fame, a list of extraordinary women whose brilliance
and leadership define the future of the creative industry. One of the areas where our
Latino superpowers truly shine is in marketing and creativity.
These visionary Latinas have transformed creativity into impact — they shape how
stories are told, how culture is celebrated, and how communities feel seen. They lead
with authenticity, strategy, and purpose, proving every day that when Latinas lead,
industries evolve, and representation becomes a business advantage.
You know them from their work... Fabiola Torres from Gap and her latest campaign that
re-labeled inclusion and beauty, Sofía Hernández from TikTok , Ada Agrait from SAP ,
María Bartolomé Winans at Kyndryl , and Marissa Solis National Football League (NFL) .
Together, they represent the creativity and purpose shaping a more inclusive future for
brands and audiences alike.
This week was more than a series of events. It was about crossing paths of purpose —
a reflection of how far our community has come and a vision of how far we can go
together.
We are not just participating in America’s growth story; we are writing it.
As Founder and Executive Chair of We Are All Human, I am grateful to our corporate
members Airbnb , American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN), AFM ,
Bristol Myers Squibb , Dell Technologies, NOWFUL, Paul Hastings , PwC , Zimmer
Biomet, Cabrera Capital Markets and S&P Global , sponsors, and allies who made this
week possible. Your support allows us to continue elevating Latino leadership,
influence, and unity across every industry and platform.
The momentum is real. The data is undeniable.
And the future of this country, its innovation, its culture, its prosperity —> is inseparable
from the success of the Latino community.
