Mr. Mister

Mr. Mister was a popular American rock band from Phoenix, Arizona that emerged in the 1980s. Formed in 1982, the band consisted of Richard Page (lead vocals, bass), Steve Farris (guitar), Steve George (keyboards), and Pat Mastelotto (drums). Known for their catchy, synth-infused sound and introspective lyrics, Mr. Mister achieved significant commercial success with their second album, Welcome to the Real World, which spawned the hit singles “Kyrie” and “Broken Wings.” Both songs reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and the album itself was certified platinum. The band’s music often explored themes of spirituality and relationships showcasing their unique blend of rock, pop, and new wave influences.
