About Blues Rock
Blues Rock a fusion of rock and blues, and commonly refers to rock music that uses blues style chords and improvisation. The genre got its start with rock musicians performing blues songs, most commonly Chicago blues, in the 60s and fusing the older songs with their own, harder rock edge.
Over time, blues rock has influenced and been influenced by several other types of rock, including hard rock, and roots rock.
