Open Builder is an app that helps you create web applications using AI. You don't need to write code or know programming. Just talk naturally, and the app builds what you need. It works on Windows and uses smart AI to speed up your project.
This app is open-source. You can see how it works or share your own changes. It is designed to make web development simple for everyone.
Before you start, check if your computer matches these requirements:
- Windows 10 or newer
- 4 GB or more of RAM
- 500 MB of free disk space
- Internet connection to download and use AI features
- At least a 2 GHz processor for smooth performance
If your system meets these, open-builder will run without problems.
Follow these steps to get open-builder running on your Windows PC.

This page lists all available versions and files for different systems.
Look for files named something like open-builder-setup.exe or open-builder-windows.exe. These are ready-to-run installation files for Windows.
If you see multiple versions, pick the latest one by date.
Click the file name to start downloading. The file size should be around 100-300 MB.
Ensure the download finishes before moving on.
Once the file is downloaded, do the following:

- Double-click the
open-builder-setup.exefile - Follow the instructions in the setup wizard:
- Accept the license agreement
- Choose the install location (default is fine)

- Click "Finish" to close the wizard
There is no need to change any advanced settings.
After installation, run the app by:
- Using the shortcut named open-builder on your desktop
- Or opening it from the Start menu
The app opens in a clean window ready for your input.
The main feature is simple: talk or type what web app you want. Here is a basic flow:
- Start by saying or typing a simple command like:
"Create a website with a photo gallery and contact form" - The app will ask questions to get details. For example, it may ask about colors or sections you want.
- Answer naturally in the chat interface.
- The AI builds your app in the background.
- Once done, open-builder shows a preview and options to download or make changes.
You can refine your project by adding or removing parts through conversation.
Open Builder will notify you when updates are available. When that happens:
